Located in the heart of Bangalore, B.M.S. College of Engineering was established in 1946. It is the first engineering education initiative in the private sector in India. Approved by AICTE, RV College of Engineering is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and was established in 1963. It is aided by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), a non-profit trust. The college has an intake of 60 students in the Aerospace Department, which was introduced in 2015.
